If you are completely new to Pilates/Reformer Pilates it is recommended that you book into a private 1:1 first so that we can assess you on your movement, teach you the fundamentals of pilates and understand your goals and needs. Another option is booking into a duet private 2:1 and coming along with someone else that is of the same ability.

Please wear comfortable clothing that you can move freely in eg: activewear.
For hygiene reasons, socks are a must. Please wear socks at all times on the equipment. Grip socks are best and are available to purchase in Studio.
Please also bring a sweat towel and drink bottle with you to class.

Yes indeed it does!! You will notice very quickly the strength that you build by attending classes regularly. Some other benefits to Pilates, in particular Reformer Pilates is improved posture, increased flexibility, increased muscle tone, core stability, less aches and pains, and an overall better feeling in your mind and body!!
As Joseph Pilates quoted 'You will feel better in ten sessions, look better in twenty sessions, and have a completely new body in thirty sessions. '

Attending one session a week is great if you are just starting out or already doing another form of exercise. However it is recommended that you attend 2 or 3 classes a week if you want to see a real difference in your body. Consistency is key.

Yes you can but please ensure you’ve had medical clearance first. Please contact me directly prior to booking a class so we can discuss an option that suits you best and that I can prepare the class appropriately.

Congratulations!! Yes you can but we recommend booking in for a private 1:1 to ensure that you know what muscles we need to be focusing on and the ones we need to avoid. It’s advised to start Pilates early on in pregnancy and waiting until at least 6 weeks postpartum.
Please ensure you have had clearance from your doctor or midwife prior to attending.
We highly recommend that you have your 6 week Postnatal check with a Women’s Health Physio prior to returning to our classes or any form of exercise.
Please contact me directly prior to booking so we can discuss an option that suits you best and that I can prepare the class appropriately.
